Elisa’s story
Elisa was born on 12 July 1990 in Massa (MS). In 2015 she contracted meningococcus type C, which caused the amputation of her left foot.
Although her feelings were negative at first, Elisa reacted with determination and courage, especially with the help of her family, her boyfriend and her best friend. Elisa has started playing volleyball again but in the paralympic version, the sitting volley.
She really admires Rafael Nadal for his grit and determination that make him a “warrior”.
She met art4sport because when she was in hospital, she wrote a message to Bebe on her Facebook page. She was contacted by President Teresa Grandis who went to visit her and told her about the Association.
Elisa joined the art4sport team in April 2017: she has had the opportunity to meet many people who have enriched her from a human and experiences level.
